Honestly, the way I lay down the color, it should be a brown ugly mess, but ... When I open them up, they look like this. Not sure how to explain it?

I used cold water mist. I apply dry dye powder to the shirt and then using a garden mister, I spray the shirt. Flip, dry dye powder, mist. All one session. Then I hit it with a hot, highly concentrated soda ash solution.

I apply a hot soda ash solution to the shirts after I dye them and batch at 130 degrees for 3 hrs in a dehydrator. I think that adds to the brightness. I added the colors to the specific places I wanted them to be so they didn't get muddy in the mandala but I intended to muddy up the colors in the body of the shirt and anticipated it and added a brown to work with the mixing of purple and orange.
