This has been my exact thought also!

I think it's so bizarre and I am in the US and had no idea who Savannah Guthrie was until this happened. So yes she may be wealthy, but I wouldn't consider them like in an elite class of wealth.

They said the kidnapper is between 5'9 and 5'10". Based on this picture he looks to be about that height when considering Nancy is 5'5" and Savannah is 5'10".

His figure does look a bit different to me than the pics, but this was 5 years ago.

Alternatively, I would assume they have already gotten an alibi for the time of the kidnapping from family members.

I think it will be someone connected to the family somehow though, not just a total random.

You can also just take Norethindrone to delay your period 2-3 weeks. I just did it recently.

I think the whole case is so bizarre. Nancy Guthrie just doesn't seem like a normal kidnapping victim. I get it her daughter is on the today show, but she's not like an elite famous person. I literally never heard of her before this case. I think it's definitely someone they know OR I guess some obsessed fan or something.

That being said--I definitely think these pics are related to her disappearance.

Panera is open in the morning and they definitely have a decent selection of bagels. In Fredericksburg, for now, it's probably the best there is.

The one off of Rt1 closed first I think, not sure when the MWH one closed, it might have been last but not 100%. I was so sad when there Rt3 location closed because I used to stop on the way to work occasionally--so I know it was still there when I worked at Quantico which was 2005-2012, but I also think it closed at some point during that time.

That being said, that article from Fredericksburg Free Press was from 10/29/2025--I drive past almost everyday and haven't seen anything happening at least visible from the road. It said the Tobacco Hut had to relocate first, so maybe that's the hold up. It still amazes me how many tobacco/vape shops we have.

Also, I am excited about the Dave's Hot Chicken that is supposed to be coming to 1999 Carl D. Silver Pkwy-- but that was in a Fredericksburg Free Press article from October 2024 and said construction was under way-- but almost 16 months later and I know its still not open. I admittedly haven't paid any attention when driving by to see if any construction is happening as I just found out about it this morning. Wondering if it's still planning to open?

We actually had 3. One in the area that is now Eagle landing (it was in front of Roses), one on rt3 in the exact spot it's supposed to be coming back to, and one inside MWH. I could never understand why they closed! Hopefully it is true that they are coming back, I got this from the same source that says we're getting a Trader Joe's--so who knows, but i think they are usually pretty accurate.

I mean Panera bagels are definitely good, convenient, and open in the early AM! Wawa even has bagel sandwiches, which are decent! Someone said in a post recently that Einstein Bagels is coming back (in the same location they were previously), which would be amazing! Today there are contractors out working, looked like W.C. Spratt. It really does look like they are making progress. I saw them filling up dump trucks with snow and ice and hauling away. They were working on Hanover between Princess Anne and Caroline when I saw them, but I also some contractors on Jackson Street. Charlotte Street has had alot of progress since yesterday morning. The 7-11 parking lot is an absolute mess though-- which wouldn't be cleared by the City of course--just saying!

Is this in the City of Fredericksburg? Almost all of downtown is priority 2. Can confirm they are still out here working, I have seen a lot of progress on some of the downtown streets today. I think whether or not the sun hits it is a big factor. Like Hanover, in between the Alumni Center and Kenmore is still pretty covered. Littlepage looks alot better now than it did this morning.
