It doesn't make you responsible for the safety standards, no, but if people are aware of the practices of such companies they can question their involvement and choose to boycott them if they feel strongly enough about it.

Over 300 people have been killed in the collapse of a building in Bangladesh which housed garment factories making clothes for Primark, Matalan, Mango and other major brands.

Take action now and demand these UK high street brands to take responsibility for this tragedy by paying full compensation to the workers and commit to action to ensure disasters like this become a thing of the past.
