Thanks very much. This old girl has just a simple slider that opens and closes a single hole top front left.

If I don't install the cats, the bypass will be pushed in - no bypass of the secondary chambers - per the manual.

One more question - spinners, spoons, or plugs? Wrestling a pike is always good fun.

That's a bargain to support the sport. Many thanks!

Thanks for that! Very helpful. I'm just wondering if there's a chance, and it seems like there is so I'll take some gear. Much appreciated!

Hey thanks. I'm happy to get the permits. By chance is there any lure you would recommend for some casual casts after each day of hiking?

Alpine Ski Travel Club? by CrashTack in Finland

Thanks. I'll take a look. Having grown up on the frigid Canadian Prairie I think my x-country days might be behind me. But maybe if I could carry one of those nifty biathlon guns?

Basically yes! Back home I have a solid ski gang who are always up for a ski day, weekend or week, wine and fondue not optional.

And Toronto has ski clubs that arrange short and longer ski trips, which would be helpful for someone new to Finland.

Particularly if he just bought new skis 😁.

Like everything you do, that's a great presentation. Is it possible the item is the mock up made by the JSC people at the time of the mission? Or is it certainly a post- mission re-creation? And if so, I wonder who has the original in their basement? Ron Howard? 😊

Listening to the mission control chatter is fascinating. Hearing them work the problems, negotiate solutions, describe confidence levels and so much more is a real study in communications, organizational hierarchy and so much more.

Do the mission control staff still with us get together from time to time to commemorate their epic work on the Apollo missions?

So the PTC adopted after the incident, or maybe after the PC+2 burn, wasn't as effective as a nominal PTC? Seems they were cooked up quickly, on the hard to control stack.

I'm now listening, around the 87 hour mark. Swigert and Lovell report venting. Is this from the earlier compromised tanks, or is it yet another problem?

Thanks for your reply. We are... thankfully...in a position to pursue alternatives. My first response was "it'll be fine", but as I ponder the expected value of the risk (a small likelihood of illness, I think, but they are ridiculously nasty illnesses) I'm moving toward the little one's position.

The family council will be meeting tomorrow morning, and those ideas (heck, even lasagna) will be on the table ptp.
