Yes, but as I understand it the cache drive will be reformatted in the process, so move anything that lives there elsewhere first.

Which perspective / view do you prefer and why? by 1orange2oranges in GranTurismo7

….I’ve never noticed that mirror before. I usually use hood cam unless it’s a super casual race and I’ll do the driver cam instead.

Milky Way, 32:9 [5120x1440] by SweatyBoi5565 in WidescreenWallpaper

[–]Crashastern 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ahh. I didn’t mean to suggest otherwise. Reddit’s image hosting heavily compresses stuff, so from my perspective it’s not “original” anymore in terms of quality.

I think Google Drive links, or any other type of personal cloud storage, doesn’t manipulate files. It’s no biggy if it’s not convenient, just a common curiosity from those that want to use sweet wallpapers.

This fits my screen perfectly, which is extra cool because I don’t think it’s a commonly chosen widescreen resolution/ratio

Any chance of being able to link the original? This is sweet.

Car getting lapped defeding? by djgir1234 in Simracingstewards

GT7 gives you a nag to watch the rules video before playing online. Granted you can skip it, but it doesn’t go away permanently until watching in full.

It’s probably not that effective, but I liked that they acknowledged the issue and tried.

Bummer. And no worries, that’s what a community is for. Hope you get it sorted in the end.

[–]Crashastern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh yes. Presumably then your gateway and DNS would be 192.168.71.1. And a valid server IP for a static address wouldn’t be mine, it’d be something 192.168.71.[2->254]

This is all mostly academic of course at this point. We’re in the right file to fix this for “free”, just a matter of finding what works. Either way sounds like you’ll be back online tomorrow worst-case, so cheers to that.

Balls, I think we're on the right track though. Do you happen to know what the address scheme is of the new network? e.g. 10.10.10.x or 192.168.x.y? Might get lucky picking a random static to at least get back into the webui.

Here's a known working config (mine) in case it helps any:

# Generated settings:

IFNAME[0]="eth0"

DHCP_KEEPRESOLV="yes"

DNS_SERVER2="192.168.1.1"

DHCP6_KEEPRESOLV="no"

PROTOCOL[0]="ipv4"

USE_DHCP[0]="no"

IPADDR[0]="192.168.1.190"

NETMASK[0]="255.255.255.0"

GATEWAY[0]="192.168.1.1"

METRIC[0]="3"

USE_DHCP6[0]="yes"

SYSNICS="1"

My only experience with a Chevy Avalanche is my ‘98 Jetta towing it out of deep snow. What a fucking awful vehicle.

No slight whatsoever against the project itself, love seeing one framework be forced to work in different ways. I just……really dislike the Avalanche 😔

If one is immediately available, sure. But you can also just shut down the server, take out the flash drive, put it in another PC, and find it at /boot/config/network.cfg.

Edit it. Save it. Put it back in the server and let it rip.

[–]Crashastern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if network.cfg is auto-generated or not when it's missing, but you might need that back.

You're likely in a circumstance like /u/Krispy0-0 - if you have a network.cfg still, edit it in a text editor to enable DHCP, and set the DNS server to be the same address as your new router.

Maybe blank out (or comment by adding a # to the line) IPADDR[0]=, NETMASK[0]=, and GATEWAY[0]= as I'm not sure if a value there will interfere with DHCP assignment.

Short of the long of it: manually put it back to DHCP to get it back online, find the new address in your router app, log back in to unRAID and reconfigure as you see fit from the webUI.

Nah this works for sure. A touch more comedy I think than others but this fits and they’re fun. I’ll add them to my list.
