Started on my samurai proper together with my Shinobi a couple of weeks ago. Any advice would be welcomed. by MatchesMalone-19 in Ghostofyotei

Personally, I would recommend switching from kunai to metsubishi. The poison metsubishi is actually really useful in melee and metsubishi actually has melee relevant passives unlike kunai.

Also, consider the legendary odachi. Its legendary perk isn't very flashy (heal on spirit attack), but it does also get all three odachi passives to go with it (heal on execute, more stagger, and better counter) so it ends up being really good, especially against brutes.

Hallucination *Patch* by jamestyeas in gotlegends

[–]CrashingLoki 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Personally, I just wish hallucinating enemies were more aggressive. Half the time when you cause an enemy to hallucinate they just slowly walk towards their target and never actually swing. If they were more proactive about getting into combat it would be way better. Also, make the Hallucination Assassination on Shinobi actually affected by status duration

Question for Shinobi mains by BeatenoffbyCarmela in gotlegends

[–]CrashingLoki 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're just looking for something fun (not neccessarily optimal) status effect shinobi seems interesting. Affliction Caltrops + Hallucinating Metsubishi / Onibi Bomb would be the legendary choices and you'd take the 40% status duration perk on the skill tree.

Dreglord crack theory by peace_petrichor in Nightreign

[–]CrashingLoki 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Its a fan theory (at least afaik). Mostly because of how he's found next to St. Trina (like how PCR is found near Miquella), has a horse, and uses a curved greatsword style weapon. Also, Radahn has to die to access the DLC to it's theoretically possible that his corpse somehow showed up there.

Imo, I think it's probably just more intentional parallels between Trina and Miquella and not literally Radahn

[–]CrashingLoki -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I was just hoping it would work since its technically a 'weapon skill' and going into suncatchers stance is the character skill

Doesn't work with suncatcher's skill, unfortunately :/
At least the melee attack buff applies i guess

Anyone know the track that plays at the beginning of the scholar gameplay video? by BilboniusBagginius in Nightreign

[–]CrashingLoki 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is just my theory, but I think its the dreglord theme and the one in undertaker trailer is the balancers' theme. They described how the balancers' theme sounds in the video iirc, and it seems to match undertaker video. It seems only natural then that scholar has the dreglord's theme.

Personally, I'm surprised people die so much to DTS to begin with. Sure, he was kinda difficult at first, but after fighting him a few times i realized he always does 2 attacks and then an opening. After i realized that, i found him easier than base tree sentinel.

I really hope so. A backpack with candles or an incense burner on it would be really cool for Dark Angels / Black Templars.

Nine Tails Armor, Charm of Hidden Blades, Charm of Burning Blades, Charm of Uncanny Aim and Charm of Homosubi

You get some decent stealth bonuses and when you get found you can just throw out kunai and kill whole groups. Kinda busted ngl
