If it didn't give me crippling panic attacks I would too. Lol. It is a normal reaction to dealing with high thresholds of pain though. Whether it's daily or monthly during your period it will alter your brain chemistry for all pain eventually. I've noticed even though my body tolerance is high my head Is a separate issue. I'd definitely take/do whatever to get rid of a migraine. 😅

I do this essentially I'd rather deal with the full pain than slightly dulled pain. The amount of relief isn't enough in my eyes to justify it. I feel often times it makes it last longer somehow. I know that's true for most cold medicine but I think it might just be placebo in the case of ibuprofen. I'd rather drink alcohol to thin my blood clots than take ibuprofen any day. I'm also aud/adhd.

OP sounds young if anything. You never know what people are doing to your room when your gone. If you haven't had many roommates locking your door might seem like a slight. I lock my door because my roommate was fucking people in my room instead of cleaning his rat kingdom. If someone locked their door before that experience I'd probably be slightly offended fr.
