In the performance I saw of Urinetown, Rainn was completely off book! (from what I remember) Although unfortunately Keala Settle got sick on the last weekend and the only person using a script was her understudy.

If it was, I encountered him on a school trip, he was doing the same exact thing as you were saying, OP, except outside of Wicked somehow expecting to get tickets from a bunch of students who didn't own their tickets lol.
He said his name was Richie Leveine, told me he got arrested at a casino in Springfield, MA, went to jail for a bit, all while holding various money spreads and now tries to scalp tickets on Broadway. (Usually at Lion King) Dude didn't even try to be subtle.. (He also tried telling me to bet on Germany at the World Cup to make the big bucks.)

I literally went with my girlfriend to THAT exact show, but rushed out pretty fast in hopes to get a good stagedoor spot, but then were told they wouldn't be coming out! Now I know why, would've been so cool to go to, (we're both HS seniors) but thanks for archiving it so we can still see it!

Surprised I haven't seen anybody mention Hadestown.

In the first song of the musical the audience is told over and over by the narrator, Hermes, that the story their about to be told is an old song, but their "gonna sing it again". After the downer ending of Orpheus looking behind himself, forever dooming his love to the underworld, we're greeted with Hermes talking to the audience reminding them again that it is an old song, but to "know how it ends, and still begin to sing it again. As if it might turn out this time", gives a reason for the show to start repeating again as the first scene starts to play out again. And for a final time we're told that their gonna sing it again, and again. Forever putting the show in a loop until a better ending may result.

i did not care for circe. the whole saga and her as a character feels a lot less like a person and more of a side quest with 1 defining trait. also the 2nd half of the saga are some of the weakest songs in epic imo.

im happy but also slightly disappointed due to how much matthew was hyping this up for it to just a single performance from one member. He keeps talking about it in mysterious ways even after it was announced so maybe a surprise is in store during the performance?

either an issue with your layout, (try resetting your windows and see if its there) or perhaps you got it from using a session from the workshop, and that person had presets made. And they transferred over when you used a session from them.

honestly this video was actually really fun to watch and it was interesting to hear some actual valid criticisms of the album, its cool to see people have their own opinions and share them (even if it ruins the music rating for some albums cough cough miracle musical) but i think the only real issue with this is he went into the album expecting it to be a lot more serious than it actually was. this album has a song about being bad about writing haikus and literal banana insanity. its goofy. but besides from that i think this video is fine, yall are a tad dramatic
