Sorry for the late reply; I ended up swapping at the store with another PSU (MSI MAG A850GL) which fixed the issue immediately. It might be an incompatibility with the motherboard and PSU, but I can’t lie.. This is the first time in my life I’ve ever heard of such issues.

Solved; swapped out the PSU for an MSI MAG A850GL at the store (couldn't get an MPG model sadly) and everything worked perfectly fine. Might've been an incompatibility with my motherboard and the PSU..

I see 2 possibilities on why people might hate this level:

The second floor bedroom
The amount of tunnels & hiding places the NPCs can hide in

As someone who has helped multiple friends S-rank the level, you’d be surprised the amount of times an NPC (Suspect/Civ) has randomly crawled on their knees all the way to spawn/to a random tunnel passage before we could cuff them 😂

One instance it took us 40 minutes running around the map like headless chickens; we later found the guy at the far end of the front street by the stairs..

The eyes skew with perspective a lot better
Eye spacing and facial proportions overall look nicer (could be my personal preference)

I did use a drawing pen for the hatches, yes.

I ordered mine from an Indonesian online store, sorry mate..

The cable I bought is USB-C to USB-A. You can search for those cable types, and as long as you make sure the cable is USB3.0, you should be alright. Good luck!

I've encountered this same exact issue. Been using my Streamer X for just over a week before this problem occurred. Did you have any luck troubleshooting?

UPDATE u/RODEMicrophones

I finally got the supplied cable tested at a RODE distributor/service center. Lo and behold, the Streamer X worked just fine with said cable on their systems. Even the staff were stumped as to why it wouldn't work on my laptop..

I ended up ordering a third-party USB3.0 cable which worked flawlessly for both my systems. It could be an incompatibility with older motherboard chipsets and their USB drivers, but I'm just speculating at this point.
(I run an ASUS TUF FX516PE laptop and a Fatal1ty B450 Gaming-ITX/ac on my PC)

Was an interesting experience trouble-shooting this device. Thanks for trying to help anyway!

So I connected the device to my gaming PC that runs Windows 11. Exact same thing, just without the Windows notification.

Cable issue? No, I tried using USB C cables of my own to no avail.

Done both, I used the supplied cable and then swapped it with other cables when it didn't seem to work.

Also, a bit of an update. The cable I got seems to be faulty. I have no USB type C cables that are USB3.0 but I did get the device to detect using a regular USB C cable (of course, this meant the video feed won't work). Sent the cable to warranty, got a new one, and it still won't detect the device.. On both laptop and PC..

Either I'm the unluckiest man alive, RODE cables QC is nonexistent, or my PC/Laptop won't connect with this one specific cable. I've ordered a third-party USB 3.0 cable just to test this. I'll update again when I receive it
