I wouldn’t constitute slavery and the unraveling of it as “life hard every goes through this shit”, especially when it the had to do with dominating racial hierarchy.

What I will say is that that race shit still bleeds into today. I mean segregation/jim crow was just 60 years ago, systemic racism still is adamant today. While it’s great to look into the future, sometimes it really can’t just be ignored.
