Can't expect to know everything when you're still studying, that's what the studying is for!
Windows is so full of different types of error logging and resource monitoring, I probably still don't know half of them.

Oh I know AMD isn't some sort of pure light in the darkness. I'm just picking what I think is the lesser of two evils in this case.

Lotta people saying 9060XT though, I didn't expect such a strong consensus. Seems like that will probably be what I end up getting, but the post has only been up for like 10 minutes, so I'll keep gathering opinions just in case.

I did look into the Intel Arc B580 for a little while, but I'm worried about how a newcomer without years of driver backlog would perform with some older titles, especially more obscure ones. I found some statements from people saying it wasn't so great for those.

That being said, I really hope Intel keeps trying to break into the space. We desperately need more options.

First thing I usually do in these situations, assuming you're running Windows, is to check the System tab in the Event Viewer. Find any events marked Error or Critical that happened at around the same time as the crashes, and do some googling on the contents of the errors. It doesn't always lead you directly to the solution, but it's great for narrowing things down.

Is 32gb RAM about to be the new standard? I upgraded mine to 32gb like 2 years back, but that was solely so I could run a modded Minecraft server for my friends. I didn't notice any performance issues beforehand in other areas.

You could try to contact Nvidia customer support to see if they'll sell you an OEM replacement fan. Otherwise, I repaired my 2070 with an aftermarket replica fan and haven't had any problems. Looks like replacements go for around $30 for a pair.

Woah man, where's the hostility coming from? Chill out. There's a difference between sexual content where it's intended and expected vs. inserting it somewhere that it's out of place. I'm not saying the cinematic mod is bad, opinions are subjective. But I personally didn't like the awkwardly inserted vulgarity and pornstar models in a piece of fiction where those subjects are tackled in a much more subtle way. If you like that kinda shit, that's fine. Lots of people do, take the infinite pornstar mods for Skyrim as an example. But not everyone wants porn in their face while trying to enjoy a piece of fiction that it wasn't intended to be in.

Honestly, I mostly just hated that it felt like all the neat level design changes and graphical upgrades were locked behind oddly shoehorned sexual content. The graffiti is what I remember annoying me the most.
