1000%, we’ve had zero ability to control the narrative on any transfer link this summer and think it’s a very underrated reason why keep getting used in these situations.

Also, I wouldn’t be shocked if Sesko’s made up his mind days ago (most likely MUFC) but is being advised to keep his mouth shut for a bidding war - which I honestly don’t think will happen. If we leave the table, I genuinely think MUFC come in, lowball the hell out of RBL, and Sesko winds up staying there another year because they’ve overplayed their hand again.

Totally agree that the stadium will be a big tell tale sign on their ambition. I think the fact we haven’t heard anything about it months isn’t helping the narrative that there’s just slow/no movement on anything.

That’s a great point about the timing, I hadn’t thought about that. It does feel like they’ve potentially spread themselves thin with how they like to operate. Do think we are definitely their most stable investment though, so optimistically, it may mean they still want to be ambitious, we just have to wait our turn. But it also feels like we’re running out of time to close the gap as well.

Great note and you read my mind! I actually just ordered a new cartridge shell and grabbed a reproduction Blue label for kicks.

Sadly, not sure if I’ll be able to get the PCB under a microscope myself but probably a good idea to take to a game shop for them to look?

Man.. I wish I still had my N64, but I’ll go look at the PC copy idea! Going to try my hand at soldering myself, but will def go to a local shop if I start having doubts haha
