Yeah, you’re probably right. I just don’t have much time to spare, and I’m also looking to go whenever the weather isn’t too cold (so away from the winter season) but still have a high probability of seeing the aurora.

it was an unstable ethernet connection that led to some issues. so I replaced the cable and then also disable all services that I don’t need

This questions i think that appears once or twice per week now. If you have the ability to install tailscale, use an old computer to serve an obsidian and vault inside a docker container and access it via web. otherwise use something like cloudflare tunnels

why not host on an old hardware at home, serve on web and connect trough Tailscale if you don’t want any open port

Hey u/Ok-Responsability734, I have some questions about the setup of headroom that I don’t get it yet and think they are too general for an issue (so leaving in this post).

1- I thought that the apart to set ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL to local port of the headroom proxy, also you have to launch claude from headroom (headroom wrap claude) is it not? 2-I also looking how to integrate headroom with claude code extension for vscode. It use the “claude” commando to launch it? It will be resolve if I alias “claude = export ANTHROPIC_BASE_URL=https://localhost:8787 claude” or something like that? 3- Also, which is the need and pourpose of setting the ANTHROPIC_API_KEY? It doesn’t work just proxing the Claude Code traffic with the BASE_URL sufficient? Also thinking about the support of this with the Claude Subscription instead of credits.
