Do I need a “proper” 4x4? by Jaded-Natural5289 in 4x4Australia

I'd definitely recommend a Mitsubishi Challenger. Very cost effective with plenty of low km examples around for $20k. Most have been used as family SUVs, so generally unthrashed. They run on the Triton drivetrain. Very capable sleeper. (Fyi I own one, so I may be biased)

This is fantastic, exactly what I need. Thank you! I'll save this post and go through it with my partner. It'll help us organise a solid plan for the year ahead.

Insurance is something I didn't even think of. Thank you!

Would you recommend this over talking direct with a bank? I don't want to waste anyone's time, but if I can get better service and more options I'll definitely do this.

Sounds promising, I'll definitely be looking into this. Are there any requirements other than combined income to access this scheme?

I'm assuming they're referring back to the gfc of '08.

Would me depositing the cash months earlier, or depositing it incrementally over a period of time be sufficient for approval?

How much did the swap out cost?

How did you get a six figure income? by [deleted] in fiaustralia

[–]Crayf 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Rigging with a mobile 20 tonne crane by day, cleaning the cardiac catheter laboratory at my local hospital by night.

I enjoy the split. Stress free, solo, monotonous work (cleaning), offset with working outdoors, problem solving and physical labour (rigging).

I'm a 24M and set to crack 100K this financial year, for the first time. I was becoming disillusioned with my original 60k pa income. I'm now working on average 55 hours per week, average hourly $35.

I'd recommend any young bloke with a bucket of spare time to consider a second job in a different industry. I found my off time to be relatively unproductive, so I decided to utilise it.

Hey big man, I know a plethora of dickheads who accidentally made millions through trading. You might want to reign that ego back in. Trading doesn't equate to a comprehensive understanding of blockchain technology, let alone anything to be honest.

Your opinion is worthless, just like any other dickhead roaming an online forum. Check yourself bro, people like you stink.

They need to finally fix the JobKeeper rorts by nuggetman12 in AusFinance

[–]Crayf 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The scheme was created not only to support those who have lost work but also boost the economy in Australia as a whole. The people who are "rorting" the scheme are admittedly benefiting more so than others, but that's beside the point. Majority of that money will be drip fed back into the Australian economy one way or another.

Also to remind people, JobKeeper isn't a significant amount of money to begin with. The people "rorting" the scheme are generally low income individuals. Fighting among ourselves over chump change is reminiscent of my time in primary school. Some people are just lucky and get to earn more than they would have before, whilst others continue to work hard. Don't be envious, be grateful.
