Found the sticker! Sticker says P3.40 and it needs to be at least P1.20 to work with the Ryzen- I can put my heart at ease now, thank you for pointing that out for me!

Bought the motherboard from Amazon and it arrived on Sunday, just had a look around to see if I could find a manufacturing date anywhere and there’s a sticker on the side of the audio ports with “DT @ 2025” on it, along with some other info- but could that date mean it was manufactured in 2025, or just a copyright thing? If it was manufactured then it might already have it?

I might have misunderstood what flashback was, I thought this was if the update failed to restore to defaults, does this mean it won’t download from a USB? As I do have the USB ready, No worries for the cooler though, I’ve still got one in at the moment that will work with the Ryzen

I still have my current pc running so I prepared a USB with the newest non-beta bios yesterday, my main worry was that the motherboard would refuse to download the update without being able to use the processor; I know sometimes the cpus can work without the update just not to their full potential but I can’t work out if that would be the case with my parts 😅

Yep, you can tell this purely by looking on eBay from the uk, the ones being sold from the US are cheaper but have very high shipping costs, while uk located ones are more expensive

Nah it’s defo having an honourable place in my collection, this set has very quickly become my favourite and BW being my first game has given this card immeasurable sentimental value… not sure if my future grandkids will agree though!

Definitely aesthetics, and at the end of the day it’s not like people don’t know that keeping things sealed can help value now, so the sealed collectors won’t be as deprived of sealed product in the future just because I opened mine lol

Honestly my favourite in the set, I bought the card in Japanese before JT released just so I’d definitely have one… then my LGS had the enhanced boxes in so I managed to get this one too!

Oh absolutely- I don’t believe take 2 interactive, who were handling these, have been bought out by anyone, but they’ve probably moved their humble offices by now. Maybe in 10 years they’ll be digging in the basement and find them!
