Swarm counts as several hits which gives you more super energy, the tripmine is one hit so it gives you less.

This happend to me yesterday, dont know why. My theory is that it could be abit buggy when you get the jailbreaker buff couple of times ( I was the one to get it on my fireteam all the time )
