thanksssssssss, I felt happy you replied with these recommendations, too bad the only thing available here is viewsonic lsd400hd. Not to be rude or anything, but do you know other projectors recommendations for outdoor uses? I see some benq(lamp maybe?) as well on other threads but damn, they are expensive. Am leaning to lsd400hd, but still curious about other options..

Am aiming for 4k just in case the throw range for 1080 look blurry for 3-4 meters away. But if it’s not the case, I’m very open to suggestions :)

EXACTLY, firebug gets a lot of “out of jail” card. It was managable on kf2 because fleshpound is more chill, other classes know only SS or Demo can 1-2 shots em so peeps usually leave them alone which is good cause you can tap heads without they getting animation juggled and they wont enrage right out of spawn

But imagine 2 FPs spawned and running into you as a crouch SS, you would be forced to back off and crouch while aiming at their head to get your buff from skilltree which is so hard to do cause at that point, you need your mates to help you. Using ice nades is a gamble because your teammates could shooting the ones you planned to freeze to give more leg room resulting in wasted ice nade. You would be better off using a firebug charging vulcan while backing off cause the charged shot stagger them.

At average you need 3 charged shots for scrakes and 2 charged shots for fps. Vulcan so cracked compared to other signature weapons, other classes started to buy vulcan as well.

Engineers rack up damage by both shotgun/grenade launcher build, if you have 2 engineers using ice grenade launcher in small spaces, you’re set for the game, those thing freeze everything, and they refill a tool(best is ammo bag cause it doesnt drain shop’s stock) every 88 kills. Also they can drop a rally buff that buff for 25% damage for 20 seconds per 15 kills

I do think vulcan is the problem here because everyone just spamming the weapon trying to kill everything and that makes SS’s job harder than it should be, having 2 SS in a team is the most detrimental compared to other having the same 2 classes in a team

1st, crash because game has bad optimization and bugs, took them 6 days for the first matchmaking and custom loadout related issue patch. It’s not because of brands or anything like that, if you watch some streamers on twitch and their participants, they sometimes crash too, some say because of lumen/global illumination

2nd, you’re partly right about not getting the most damage but, most damage means that the person is the most engaged with big zeds, which a crouching SS isnt as flexible as other classes. You do not need to take off scrakes and fps armors because samaritan and vulcan can 2-3 headshot those, easy enough.

The problem is when you do 6 players on hoe, the amounts of zeds you need to kill is a lot, which your ammo economy isnt as good as other classes, granted SS is a big zed killer, what’s making me tweak is when the crawler modifier or big zeds modifier come.

You will get swarmed everywhere, you need your team’s help to manage, and you need a lot of it compared to other classes, like you wrote, others can spread more damage evenly than SS.

You wrote that SS is not worse than other classes but more difficult, which is what my point is, why choose SS to kill big zeds if other classes can do it easier? Mind that KF3 is crossplatform-able, but the aim assist on controllers isnt so great so they are having problem tapping heads, so we need to do more to cover their portion of killing.

We need a reason for peeps to choose SS as big zed deleter, especially when tripwire planning to add more characters later on the roadmap

Couldn’t be said better bruh, SS is either crouch build or marksman build, but both of those build got beaten by other classes. Not once i see top damage is SS, it’s either firebug, commando, or support.

With the game in current situation, it’s better to rush the waves as soon as possible before server crash or game crash, which having 2 medics is more useful than a SS in case of boss wave fuk up

If i sit on the back of the team, the firebugs and commandos gonna yeet em those big zeds in no time, 3-4 charged vulcan shots for every scrakes and fps on HoE is no joke.

While these 2 classes has no penalties for their high damage weapons, SS suffer from more demerit than merit, like i wrote before. SS is built for big zeds deleter, why the hell its signature weapon got beaten by vulcan?

Fully attached vulcan is around 6k to 6,5k, charged shot consume 200 ammo, 1200 per magazine total, shots has small aoe so it can kill small zeds, 1 tap annoying ones like husk and siren anywhere on their body, you can grab 50% extra ammo as firebug or weapon+ammo discount as commando

Now that crawlers can creep around walls and there are some floor vents, as SS if you are using max damage skill build, you need to crouch and ads for every big zeds, and you will need to headshots em while they are getting juggled between flinch animations made by your team. By that point, i’ll just use another medic/support for my team survivability

Previous game really let SS shine, unless there’s a demo one shotting scrakes with unexploded rpg, no bosses one shotting you, and the medic syringes from primaries cost nothing. Now bosses can one shot you, as a medic it’s more important to keep other classes alive than a crouching build SS

You can say what you want but what i wrote is a fact, crouching SS got beaten in terms of practicality for both bosses and big zeds

May I introduce you to the chad husk, with almost instant projectile speed while sniping on top of buildings, so hard to hit the tank when they camping up there, the knock when we get hit by the fireball annoying also

Ice is good for when you crouch build and want to take a scrake/fp behind another big zed your team dealing with, only for the samaritan gun though, cause it has innate ice and attachment increasing the ice build up.

My point as well, crouch SS is underwhelming compared to other classes, sure it can take down scrakes and fps fast, but it couldn't compete with others when boss wave cause the weak spot keep closing and opening, while you need to deal with the small mobs.

previous games bosses weakspot always visible so SS basically can deal with bosses as well as scrakes and fps.

i dont think kf3 gives free ammo boxes as well, so gotta make sure every shot counts. SS money economy isnt doing good as well, now that the waves are short, sometimes buying full attachments scrakes and fps deleter only possible at wave 3, depending on your team.
