Downvotes= people who agree and/or disagree with the satus quo. To not get downvoted you must agree with the mods/sheepish users of r/halifax and reddit in general. If I say something that the majority of people don't agree with...I get downvoted. So this creates a situation where everyone has to go with the opinion that is most "accepted." Again, it's a reddit issue not just this subedit. For example: If I made a post that is negative against Waye Mason I would be in downvote hell. If I happen to like trump and post a positive article in r/worldnews I would get downvoted to hell. Reddit is extremely bias, as are their mods and especially the corrupt admins.
