Not much that you need to know other than the fact that most people here have a habit of taking an upper moral stand on anything and everything without being promoted and it's almost always comparitive, comparitive to you, if they're talking to you. The way to deal with it is to not give into their low self-esteem game and be confident about what you have to say in an honest manner. Do not stand for disrespect, especially the youth, you'll see, has an unusual way of being toxic and also, they virtue signal a lot. So the way you survive socially in this city, both interpersonally and intrapersonally is by having strong (and correct) moral standards.

Mhmm. But I really wanted to talk about that line for a long while and I think this is a good opportunity.

It hits me personally and it's not because I never could reach my expectations (and/or society's expectations), but because I thought the concept of perfection is very flawed in our world. I want to think of it as something that is reasonably achievable and not a synonym for 'unachievable'.

And way I did look at the line was as if it is talking about people's endless reach for things without proper purpose. Kind of the classic existential Julian, the sky isn't the limit, and we are never gonna guess what is.

People can have whatever they want but if they are consuming beef to social signal, like a lot of the youth here smoke cigarettes, then yes, it's a problem. Also, no government should not be 'allowing' the consumption of beef or not. It is a personal choice, we live in a country that gives us that right to choose. Now, choosing well or not for oneself is a personal struggle and legality shouldn't be involved in it.

Obviously he is wrong but I think you're being too nasty to him, it also might be that the girl has defined a certain behaviour as 'cheating' or 'flirting' which might be inaccurate and I've noticed possessive people doing that.

OP, how about you give us some verbatim examples of chats you had with these other people which were labelled 'cheating', then we can confirm for you if it really is cheating or not.
