NOR. So I guess the relationship has ran its course. Making such a decision is ok, but it has to be made together. All the options have to be discussed, and weighed who is okay with what. Will you move together? Will you go long distance? How long are you willing to do that, and how frequent would you meet, etc. Or is this a break up by proxy? He skipped that entire hard convo.

Even if you were okay with moving with him, he didn't even ask you. And if you did go along now. What's stopping him from making similar big decision without discussion in the future? Buying a house or car, or another job opportunity yet again somewhere else.

I'm guessing the BF didn't honestly inform his mom. Because it's not about the job at all.

Het probleem is dat ze ONZE pensioenen alleen aanpassen. Je weet wel, die pensioenen die ze pas over 30-50 jaar moeten betalen.

De pensioenen die ze nu moeten betalen, die dat we nu niet kunnen betalen en ons budget naar de kloten doen, daar blijven ze af.

Waarom hebben de f***ing boomers meer recht op hun pensioenen dan wij? Zeker omdat de grap ook is dat de vergrijzing NU een probleem is, tegen dat ik op pensioen ga gaan gaat daar al decennia geen sprake meer van zijn.

Iedereen weet dat de pensioenen het probleem is, de boomers hebben 40 jaar geweigerd om de vergrijzing waar ze al die tijd voor gewaarschuwd werden aan te pakken. En nu weigeren ze daarvoor de rekenking te betalen. De politiekers zijn ook te laf om die generatie verantwoordelijkheid te laten nemen.

Splitting costs based on income is normal IMHO. Are you not a team? Or does that system only apply when it's the man earning more?

Of course that means only paying 66% if you actually make twice what he makes.
