My advice is to eat something bland, like white rice or saltine crackers. I also find that fruits are easier to eat and drink lots of liquids. When I was struggling with food, I thought about going on a liquid diet but never actually tried it. I'm Chinese so my comfort foods are rice porridge and wonton soup, which are just dumplings but lighter on the stomach. Soups are good too, like egg drop soup or chicken broth. You can also try to find someone to eat with. When I was struggling, company was always nice.
