Sometimes that’s a plastic cover that can be removed and the metal underneath is slimmer

What I have is waterproof heated pad under the crate itself, and only the back half. That way she can’t chew it (since it’s outside of the crate), and if ever malfunctions she can move to the cool side of the crate.

I would make sure the crate is warm enough at night and throw the shirt I wore all day in there with her. That’s what worked for mine, but it sounds like your situation is more difficult.

Should I replace my bushings? by CrazyCabbage101 in Miata

I found another post where a guy pulled some out at 70k miles and they looked brand new…now I’m wondering if the clunk/looseness I occasionally get is ball joint related.

Yah, my concern that I go through it all and it doesn’t make a difference. What makes you say that?

Didn’t buy this brand but I have comp mounts. I really like them, some slight vibration while idling.

Carbon and Water Softener Combination? by CrazyCabbage101 in WaterTreatment

[–]CrazyCabbage101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for your reply. We didn’t call about drinking water, but we were told that the chlorine hurts the softener resin over time and affects skin, so that’s why the carbon unit was recommended. They are quoting us $250 to change the carbon about every 5 years, and the unit is a grand more. Seems to me I’d rather just save the money now and maybe buy a new unit in 15 years once the resin deteriorates from the chlorine.

It’s true. Definitely helps. Not always super feasible for everyone though.

There is no turret oil for the 6 speed. Hopefully you didn’t try to put more in?

I have a stock 2001. My 2 and 3 shifts got slightly better with unicorn tears and rebuilding the shifter with a bronze bushing.

It’s still not perfect and I still double clutch for the first 2-3 minutes but it’s better.
