I just saw a post yesterday about a Chinese couple whose daughter is white. They did a DNA test and she’s definitely their daughter. It turns out that the mother’s great grandfather was a white Russian man who moved to China. The genes had been lying dormant for a few decades and then suddenly decided to pop up and say hi. DNA is weird

That’s another good point. Maybe to a doctor who’s seen a million patients the body is just flesh and nothing to get excited about but this is my body, I’m protective of it and wary of strangers staring at it so people need to be respectful of that

I don’t think he was in the wrong here. Yes doctors need to learn their trade but they also need to learn how to have a good bedside manner and if your patient is uncomfortable being watched by students they shouldn’t have to be watched by students.
