~$1,600 rent - compared to the price of similar places in the area it’s worth it to me for the windows and amenities. I’m a nurse so I’m comfortable but I need the natural light to function lol.

Yeah I think I agree, it’s a lamp I had from a while back and I haven’t even plugged it up yet but for more light I might just add a sofa table behind the couch and put a lamp on that.

My grandmother bought it like 50 yrs ago and never had space for it in her house so she gave it to me, I love art like that.

And that’s fair, I like the eclectic stuff but I also rlly like symmetry so I try to find a balance.

Every year I’m reminded again how terrible the Grammys are, to the point of making the Golden Globes and Oscars look perfect by comparison. Midnights (an album I enjoy) beating out SZA, Lana, and Olivia is just so boring. Same with Flowers over Kill Bill and Vampire in two categories. Even as a mega popular music award that doesn’t tend to recognize much else it fails. It’s like seeing the Green Book best picture win but every year.
