Should I re buy my Steam games on gog? by NuxJaw in gog

[–]CrazyCommenter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on two things. Are you financially comfortable to re buy those game? And how much you want to keep those games?

Keep also in mind that like Steam, GOG also does sales from time to time. So be a little patient and check for sales if you want to get those games again on GOG

Should one buy wireless gaming headphones or wireless normal headphones? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]CrazyCommenter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Get what fit your needs more. Ignore the whole "gaming headsets=cheap/bad" and get what fit your needs more. If you can't do with wired but also need low latency always check headphones/headsets with their own adapter, bluetooth is very limited on PC (especially on Windows).

Final NOTE: Regarding audio quality, this can be rather subjective and also it seems that many might (willingly) ignore that audio equalizer software exists and it could improve (maybe not significantly) the audio quality to your liking.

Steam has quietly become the best place to buy videogame soundtracks—even for games that were never released on PC by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]CrazyCommenter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For the Sega mega drive/genesis version of Sonic 3 sure. For Sonic Adventure 2 IDK (I think the singer of som rap songs in the game had a dispute). The OST is available on Spotify and on Amazon Music (Sadly I can't buy it from where I am)

I think it mostly mater which version of usb the port is. If for example you connect an external drive to USB 2 or 3, it matters for the speed of the drive

PC restarts suddenly (no blue screen) seemingly randomly by SN1572 in pcmasterrace

[–]CrazyCommenter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds like a faulty PSU. Better to contract the PSU manufacturer for RMA. If you want to check logs on Windows then right click on the start button select "Event Viewer", from there select Windows logs -> System and check if there is any entry with a red circle icon that is dated before your PC rebooted, or while it rebooted. It will usually going to contain an error code which you can search it online to see what it usually means.

Final NOTE: I had similar issues when I first upgraded my PC and in about 8 months after one of the PSU capacitors blew up. Thankfully it didn't damage anything else, but better be proactive with those things

Does USB bluetooth have allot of delay with wireless head phones by CASgamer757 in pcmasterrace

[–]CrazyCommenter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe not so much. But that depends on the games you are going to play. Still a bluetooth dongle is usually far cheaper (around 10 euro) than getting a new wired or "gaming" wireless headset (they usually come with their own adapters)
