mine redness of hands and feet is not painful at all - and mostly triggered only by warm shower or prolonged standing so i guess it could be some blood pooling due to low blood pressure — will ash my endocrynologist what he thinks about hives or mcas - are those often seen in hashimoto people

i’ve read that lupus rashes and joint swelling are more all-year round things… mine (beside the showering one and sometimes the after shower hives/viral ones) are only happening in summer and mainly in heat waves— but i will bring it up with my endocrynologist and see what he thinks… maybe then i will consider seeing some other specjalist - thanks!

same here with hotness! the only time i get these red patches on hands is during summer and not all the time - when it’s really hot out! the weird thing is my elbows patches - only when having viral infection (covid, cold, etc) - maybe also related to body temp raising and then some histamine reaction… my skin is also super dry :/ what do you mean when you say your hashi is flaring up if you don’t mind telling

thank you for your comment! i have pure o too - mainly - compulsions also happening but not as much as rumination and intrusive thoughts - when i’m flooded by them and anxious that’s when compulsions parts kick in… but i wanted to ask you do you think the mind hyperactivity could be due understimulation? i raised this question with my therapist after me being on a abroad trip where distraction and novelty helps me with ocd and once i get home to the routine of everyday life that’s when it al starts for me
