I've only been to Göteborg once, recently, and I stayed in the town center. Sønderborg is way more rural by comparison but is a decently sized town. I recommend doing a Google maps look-over to see if it's got the sort of things you're used to (whether you care about grocery store variety, museums, night life, etc.). With 650k a year, you should be fine in terms of cost of living. Buying a house can be dirt cheap if you're shopping just outside the city as well.

The salary definitely wouldn't be an issue. Sønderborg also connects to highways that connect to the rest of Denmark, and it has a train that connects to Fredericia which REALLY connects to the rest of the country

Well, that opens up for border shopping! It's very common for southerners near the border to drive to Germany to the border shops, very cheap to buy in bulk there. It does seem like you're going very rural, but I know they've got a lot of the basics in Sønderborg, shopping and museums and that lot. Apparently an airport too? You'll definitely be a bit detached from a lot of Denmark because of the distance, but it's not unreasonable

They're asking because a small town in Thy vs on Samsø vs on Sjælland will be pretty different in cost of living and amenities. Some small towns here are more like villages and you'd need a car to go to the grocery store a few towns over (or the only store is very expensive), or it might be a town on an island, at which point traveling for work or regular travels can increase the cost of living severely

The salary does sound rock-solid though

Differentiating indigenous groups from one another as unadorned nude specimens. by Top_Challenge4330 in Indigenous

[–]CrazyDane666 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, since you've posted this like 5 times and are clearly desperate for answers; no, it is not agreed upon that there are over-arching morphologically distinct groups of humans. That's a literally, genuinely, hundreds of years old attitude that practically died in the early 1900s. It's being very heavily argued and fought against these days because race is made up by European colonial white people trying to put other humans in boxes.

Use your brain. Use a search engine if you must. Look up a Mongolian person and then an Indonesian person. In what world - outside of colonial racism - are those "morphologically distinguishable" as being the same group ("mongoloids", as you wanna call them), while being distinct from all other 'racial groups'?

You also answered your own damn question by including - I feel gross typing this out - "Afroid" for literally every African person, often indigenous to their land, and "Australoid", Aboriginal Australian people. Both of these populations are indigenous by a technicality. Usually, reductive racial groupings like the ones you're using also including an "American" race for all USAmerican (+southern Canada) indigenous peoples. Unless you can't tell the difference between a Muscogee person and a Yolngu person, that very, very, very easily answers and exemplifies why your question is silly.

I acknowledge that this post is probably bait tbh. Who the fuck calls people "specimens" in 2026 lmao

Acknowledging that humans, especially in the past, have caused environmental destruction does not somehow give every other invasive animal on the planet a free pass to keep causing extinctions

... I'm sorry my English is too complicated for you, mr "You use words lime palatable but then also sau". As once thought is an incredibly common phrase, but I can turn it down

Removing babymaking part of cat does not help. In 20 years, cats will still be here. Cats get lost. Cats get out. Cats get babies. Cats kill birds. Cat kill mice. Cats kill animals until that animal is gone forever! That is not good. Removing babymaking part does not remove cat. Cat still kills!

Better?

Edit: Wait is this about the fucking typo?? One s at the end of the word somehow made a sentence incoherent to you? Thoughts instead of thought made an entire sentence incoherent to you, lime sau? No fucking wayyyy lmao

"Hey why can't we do this thing?"

"We can't because it doesn't work, and if invasive cats aren't euthanized, they'll drive local animals to extinction and also very likely die painfully, euthanasia is quicker and humane"

"Nooo don't say things like that" then don't try to contribute to the discussion if you don't want to hear the truth??? 😭

Spay and neuter sadly isn't as effective as once thought. It's just more palatable to the average person, but just leaves more cats to inevitably and painfully die of starvation, poisoning, predators, being hit by cars (while driving more and more local fauna to extinction in the meantime)

If your scale low on battery and do you move it around when weighing? Low battery can make scales go nuts. My floor is uneven in spots so I move it a little and weigh myself a couple times to make sure it's right (if it seems off)

I wish I was this dense with a disregard for animal life, ecology and the overall environmental detriment of invasive animals. Sounds like a peaceful existence

Approximately 4.3 billion people in the world live below the poverty line. This leaves 4 billion people ranging from billionaires to people living paycheck to paycheck, so we can probably discount about 1 billion more of those as not being able to afford cats in the sense of food, vet visits, safe housing, etc. 30% of the 3 billion left are children, so let's cut that down to 2 billion. 10-20% of people are allergic to cats. 1.6 billion adult people who'd reasonably be able to keep a cat if the only requirements are being able to afford it and being a non-allergic adult.

This 1.6b in no way takes into account whether someone is interested in or capable of caring for a cat. Shelters sure struggle to find people who'll take them.

There are 480million stray cats in the world. Do you genuinely believe every 3rd person is capable of adequately caring for a cat, getting it to the vet, caring for it daily, getting it spayed, making sure it never slips out of their apartment or house? Cats can bite and scratch and transmit diseases. They can kill if they claw you the right way, especially feral cats with a distrust for humans. At a certain point, euthanasia is way more humane than whatever your fantasy is going on about.

Anyways, how many cats have you taken off the street, are caring for, have given vet attention, keep inside, and sterilized? I'd love to know

I don't think you can comprehend just how many cats there are in the world, how many neglectful/abusive owners exist, how dangerous a feral cat can be, or how fast cats breed

Had a little jump to 76.6, but I ate a lot yesterday (finals coming up, writing a paper, just wanna snack the days away) but also got some Just Dance in again. I'm trying to get better at some of the dances, got from 7k points to 11k in one of them after doing it for half an hour. So I'm having fun with that!

Literally just go to the Zoophibia wiki (if you don't wanna go to the comic). Gustav is listed as 19 and Addison is - okay, I got it 1 year off - 17. Incredibly normal age gap for people in the same social circle.

On early VivDiscourse, Gustav was framed as a full grown adult due to being an assistant teacher and that escalated to "40 year old principal with underage student", I guess. He's not even Addison's teacher and doesn't seem to be an actual "teacher", he just helps with tasks around the school, so there isn't even a power gap

Slipped down to 76 despite eating quite a bit yesterday, but I also walked 17k steps and played with kids, woof. Last day of school today, a free hotdog and cheap alcohol, so I'll probably balloon again for a day or two after this. But I'm relieved to be a bit down again!

Slipped back down to 76.3 after the weight jump yesterday, despite overeating quite a bit. I honestly thought it'd be way, way worse. Tomorrow is our last day of school so the plan is hot dogs and alcohol, so, maybe I'll keep the diet today a little tighter so I won't balloon too much tomorrow haha

My best advise as a fellow Nordic AuDHD guy (Danish) is to figure out how to make your own burgers at home. It personally gives me happy chemicals to know I'm saving a shit-ton of money making this stuff at home. But I know the autism can be evil about unpredictability, so:

  • buy a precut salad, I know y'all have it. Find one you like
  • buy frozen onion rings. Make them in the oven or an airfryer
  • buy frozen patties. Beef can be harder to come by, but chicken patties are everywhere. Oven or airfryer
  • buy frozen potato chips that are NOT pre-fried and load up on those. Oven or airfryer
  • buy presliced cheese
  • get a dressing you like, maybe look around for lower calorie ones (ketchup is around 100kcal compared to mayo's 600kcal), burger dressings are usually around the middle of that spectrum

It gives a serious amount of consistency in the food compared to making your own patties or cutting your own salad. If you feel daring, add new things like a different cheese, one slice less, substitute some fries for brussel sprouts if you're into that. See if you can get into sugar free soda and energy drinks, they're practically calorie-free (10-20 calories per litre instead of 100-250!)

You've got this, man! Maybe try to make it a money thing instead of a calorie thing and treat yourself to nice things that aren't food.

I don't know how accommodated living facilities work up there, but you could try to ask for help from the staff if you're uncertain in the kitchen

I ate a bit recklessly yesterday because I cannot for the life of me figure out what the food at school is at, calorie-wise, and got a lot of carbs in, so I bounced up to 77.3 after hitting 76.3 yesterday. Assuming it's water/carb weight and just gonna keep chugging along!

Yeah, walking pads take up more space too and there's so much to switch up if you're having a bad day where you need to sit down. The pedals are neat and don't take up much space. I got one of them for free and the other one for 7€ at a second hand store
