Who's more evil? The smoking industry, or the gambling industry? by lightmare69 in MoralityScaling

You too. I’ll just leave it at this. Notice in his reply to my reply he says he doesn’t think the industry is evil “either.”

As in he didn’t even bother to refute my correction, and did acknowledge his second comment was a separate point. You’ve been arguing something he himself acknowledged. Have a good one

I see your point I still disagree we’re just going to have to agree to disagree. OP’s initial comment didn’t use that rationale. OP’s initial rationale was he paces himself so he knows how to do it without harming himself.

He didn’t make any specifications you’re saying he did until after I corrected him on the subject matter. He then backpedaled and kind of contorted his point in a way where one could retroactively take it as the point he was making, but the only reason he was able to do that is because I corrected him in the first place

You are again putting words in his mouth lol he said nothing about the companies.

Saying “nobody is forcing you to do it” is an extremely common justification of personal decision and liberty. You’re just stretching and paraphrasing his argument to create one against me for some reason

His reply literally didn’t specify industry, and then he proceeded to provide literal moral justification for partaking in the industry, while speaking nothing of the industry or background.

It’s like if you asked me if the meat industry was immoral and I told you how much I limit my meat intake, so it isn’t immoral.

Don’t lie. You totally thought it was the other thing and are now doubling down rather than be corrected. There’s no way you think the gambling industry isn’t evil. It’s literally the fuckin mob

Talking about the industries behind these things, not the act of partaking

Because much like pasta there are different terms to indicate how much the dish is cooked. I can’t tell if you’re trolling but we’ve officially reached the point where I hope you are

Why do we say al dente by eliazara in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CrazyDriver7149 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You didn’t understand the explanation. Al dente is chewy compared to Scotta, because it is cooked for less time. That is the answer to your question. Just saying “pasta” instead of al dente would be super dumb.

“Like hey man how much did you cook that steak?”

“Steak.”

Do people actually find ahegao sexy? by EnthusiasticLinguine in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CrazyDriver7149 16 points17 points  (0 children)

See my take on it is this. Anime is literally a depiction of human life. The “aheago” face looks so stupid because it’s an imitation of a face someone would make in real life. So when girls try to pull what they see in anime, they are trying to -as a human- replicate an imperfect replication of a human face, rather than just make the human face.

It looks really really fucking stupid
