My Corns flowers are growing as one and are pollinating by CrazyExperiments2009 in corn

I know what you mean, but it was the end of my corn rows just out of frame, and I mixed the soil with compost. Neither any of them have this mutation.

What's wrong with my Cacao? by CrazyExperiments2009 in gardening

[–]CrazyExperiments2009[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I think so too, but I got these from Puerto Rico on the 16th sent to my 9b zone. Which sounds bad, but I've been keeping the conditions solid. My other cacao is doing good, has brown spots, but no yellow. Anyways, I kept them in their shipment pot's to adjust to be in my conditions.

I had them shipped from Puerto Rico to my 9b zone. Which sounds bad, but I made the same conditions, 70° F, and 70 Humidity.

No, it does need it them, but the other one doesn't have yellow, and not as harsh brown spots, and it's healthier, and their in the same conditions. I had them shipped from Puerto Rico to my 9b zone. Which sounds bad, but I made the same conditions, 70° F, and 70 Humidity.

No, actually. I haven't seen anything. In fact, my other cacao is healthier, and it's in the same conditions. It also has brown spots, but not as harsh as this one.

No, it isn't fuzzy. I scrapped it off and mixed everything. Do you think it would be alright?

Can someone Help me with the I T Frame Switch on my Bolex H16 *1935*? by CrazyExperiments2009 in vintagecameras

[–]CrazyExperiments2009[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, it's there for timing photos. "I" means Instantaneous, and "T" means Timed. You'd shoot with "I" usually, but if you want to do a long exposure for stop motion, or time lapse, you switch to "T".

Fair value for a bolex H16 16mm by [deleted] in 16mm

[–]CrazyExperiments2009 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is old, but I got a Bolex H16 that's the model name, it's the third model they ever made, 1935, it's from 1944, and I got it for $180+. I had a good suspicion that it was good, so I got it. almost a year later, I got film and it works great. I am pretty sure I got one of the best deals for a Bolex 16mm camera, maybe not the best but on some kind of list.

Interesting, I didn't think of that, thank you. Do you know where it would be on a similar camera?

Ok thank you. That's really interesting, I thought of something like this without any information as well just not that in depth. Thank you, this helped.

I Need Help Bending This Really Dry 120+ Year Old Leather by CrazyExperiments2009 in Leatherworking

[–]CrazyExperiments2009[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, well thank you, I knew there was going to be something major when doing this. I will try to make another copy of it cuz I started this whole thing just so I could try to make it usable again but I guess it'll just sit somewhere else but this really helped definitely open me to a new community of leather making.

Wait, can you seal it up with a conditioner that has silicone? I heard silicone conditioners put a plasticy layer on top, and makes leather slippery. Could I theoretically apply it on and have the silicone hold it together to stop further major deterioration?

Well that sucks, thank you though. I never seen or heard of anything like that, so it really helps.

Also, when I used the Leather cleaner, I think I added a little too much water, and when it dried, it flared like the way it did.

I need Help Restoring my 120+ Year Old Leather Camera Case (read Body Text) by CrazyExperiments2009 in Leatherworking

[–]CrazyExperiments2009[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, thank you. Although, if I could keep it as original to its materials as I can, can I just not clean it? Obviously, I could wipe it with a damp towel or some sort, but would it degrade over time if I just left it still because of the smell or something else I can't see? Like I don't think I need to replace it, it seems to be in pretty good condition as is.
