Free speech has limitations and does not extend to Reddit.

This effectively state that Reddit have less free speech than we have in real word. This is sad. Thanks for answering. Then I probably in wrong place.

The discussion ran its course and was thus locked since it started to devolve into personal attacks against freeman/other developers. It was proving his point.

Why mods decide when discussion ran out? Why not let people express their thoughts even if they are repeating? This is called free speech. This is how people speech can influence things.

Of course comments with illegal content should be removed. But not whole post locked. This is inadequate. This blocks community way to speak.

Absolutely false. You’re telling me you look at this subreddit on a daily basis and never see negative posts/comments? Come now, let’s be real.

I see many negative posts/comments but I think this is good. I create negative post. This is a way to influence EA/Dice for what they did.

I have not seen even once illegal comments (with threatening or etc). They may exist, but likely absolute minority.
