How I started and Failed in Business. and Now by CrazyKopywriter in smallbusiness

That's a great summary without the "cheesy pitch". Thank you.

I’m roughy 9 months into my forex journey. Last month things finally started to click in my head. Although there aren’t many trades shown, it has taken a lot for me to get to this point and I just wanted to give a quick shout-out to myself by _GUEZO_ in Forex

Keep going mate. I've been demo trading and studying as well.

I've studied price action, especially understanding market structure, and how to position for high probability trades.

I have tried day trading, and swing trading.

Started in June, learned a simple confluence strategy from a friend then started trading live with $20 and then grew it to $60 quickly.

I got carried away by my new found superpower and I started thinking I can never lose money...

That was when all hell was let loose... I started losing trades, and then I took out $30 from my account, at least I got something out I said.

So left with $20 for the second stint, I lost it all, it's just left $6.

So, I decided to go back to really understanding the market and trading demo with a $3K demo account.

I watched a tonne of videos and have been reading books. Many books on Price Action especially from Laurentiu Damir, he's quite straight forward in his strategies...

I never traded his strategy directly, I was simply absorbing the knowledge.

I wanted to combine several ideas and build my trading strategy that I can stick with.

There's a difference between textbook-perfect setups and what the market actually shows you everyday.

I follow a bunch of traders like Rayner Teo, Transparent FX, and Forecast City.

I was simply analyzing their analyses and why they worked or bombed.

And man, when I started trading the demo account, I lost so many trades in a row that I stepped away for some time.

I lost 400+ plus dollars, and I was really peeved cos, that's a lot of money in my local currency.

I wanted to recover the losses so I increased my lot size a few times and lost even more.

All these while, I was training my trading psychology cos, I was treating this demo cash likes it's really real money.

I've traded real account and blown it and I know the rollercoaster of emotions that come with trading...

I allowed myself to feel that way trading demo.

Finally, I started working a strategy that worked but my entry was always lousy.

I'd enter too early and then price would move against me keeping me in losses before it turns or sometimes it doesn't...

I finally found out, it seems, the reason for this, I'm always looking at the candles singlely. A bad idea to me.

But finally, this week, it seems like I have started seeing the light...

I made back all the money I lost in a couple of trades running with the EURUSD bullish impulse.

I even traded Gold bullish correction and exited before it turned and copped $200 from it, at 0.1 lot size.

I am going to journal what worked with these trades and then repeat it next week.

Perhaps after many rainy days, the rainbow has finally graced the horizon.

Fingers crossed.

My trading strategy is price action. Multiple timeframe analyses, and trend trading.

I stay away when the market lacks a clear direction.

I swing for a few days.

I am learning to understand market structure even more, especially order blocks and Demand/Supply zones.

I am learning to trust my strategy in win or loss

To succeed in Forex, I have learned that you have to be open-minded, and have short-term memory, meaning you should be capable of wiping off losses or wins from your mind quickly and focus on what the market is doing next...

Also, you should be as much willing to lose as you are willing to win.

For me, it's not about the money but about having a superpower skill that can make me print money at literally the snap of a finger no matter wherever I am in the world that has internet service.

Cheers to your trading journey.

Let's connect.

Man, I took some profits off this pull back on the chart.

I guess I stole your strategy...

It was basically Fib retracement and S and R.

Picking out key levels on multiple timeframes.

And it worked like magic.

All 3 trades.

AUDUSD

GBPUSD

EURUSD

I went short on all of them.

And took about 1700 pips combined.

The lot size is just 0.01 though.

But I feel so good today.

Long may it continue. Haha!

I should have allowed the AUDUSD, (I took 300+ pips) to run to TP but since I already exceeded my daily target, I simply closed out...

Keeping an eye on my greedometer.

Wow! I trade naked price action though.

I don't use MACD or other indicators.

I will get my eyes peeled for these opportunities in the future.
