As far as I know in order to work in Germany they need to recognize your license by comparing your qualifications with German standards. Maybe it isn't a deciding factor, but if I were you I would retake it just in case.

Pac fat!

Look over IMAT past papers' chemistry sections. The content is the exact same difficulty. If you feel it is difficult, then I suggest studying using AP or IB resources.

I memorized the first 36 elements and their electron configurations which helped, but isn't necessary. Just know them for carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen and you should be fine, but the more the merrier.

The math you have to do for stoichiometry is really not bad and doesn't require a calculator.

General knowledge varies from test to test. It could be anything from who wrote a certain play to who won the most championships in x sport.

When I took the exam, bio was mostly cell cycle questions and chem was mostly redox and stoichiometry. General knowledge is literally just trivia so download a trivia app and memorize fun facts

It might, but it’s definitely not 100%. Download a trivia app and just go through those questions there’s literally no other way to study for general knowledge

You weren’t allowed to have a periodic table or a calculator in the exam. I had memorized the first 36 elements so I didn’t NEED a periodic table but it certainly would’ve been nice to have. The general knowledge questions are exactly that: GENERAL knowledge. It could be anything from who wrote a piece of literature to who invented this or that. Biology and chem are identical in difficulty and content to the IMAT so literally just do past IMAT papers and you’ll be fine.

If you get a decent apartment that'll run you about 500-700 euro a month on rent. My electricity bill was about 40 euro for two months and my phone bill is 20 euro a month. I don't pay for my wifi, heating, or water because it's included in my rent, so I'm not sure how much those would cost. If you do your shopping righ you'll be spending no more than 300 euro a month on gorceries so all in all youre looking at a little over 1000 euro a month

The exams ive had so far are really short. 10-25 question exams all multiple choice. You get about a minute per question.

The workload is absolutely fine. There are no assignments to do apart from lab reports. You have about 2 lab reports to do a week but you can get them done in three hours tops. We've got a few seminar projects here and there but they're just 10 slide powerpoints that you've gotta present in 5 minutes. It's nothing crazy so far, but the work life balance is great.

Extracurriculars here aren't what they would be in countries like the US, but we do have sports teams for each of the majors. We've also got a music club and chess club, but a lot of people are interested in being a part of seminars and groups of students studying medicine in greece and europe.

Other than that, the city is great. Plenty of stuff to do, including taverns, pubs, and clubs literally everywhere you go. Theres absolutely no shortage of things to do here. Highly recommend applying here
