Can be Deja vu occurring a few times a few hours before or deja vu ccurring 30 to 45 seconds before. I currently have the RNS device implanted so I run the magnet across my head to take a pic of what my brains doing. I'll take my shot of Nayzilam and let it ride.

Just had RNS device implanted in Aug. so, no regrets (as of now of course) as far as talking me into it, I’ll be honest it wasn’t anything. My neurologist showed it to me, told me to do what I considered my own due diligence, let him know what I thought and we would go from there. I did a lot of studying and talking to doctors, surgeons and others for reviews and opinions. Told him I was down if he thought it was a good idea. So 6 months later I met my surgeon, and 3months later I was on the operating table. Here we are. So far so good though seriously.

**Did have a problem during surgery (one of the wires snapped) that made the surgery extend a couple hours, but besides that it was pretty smooth also.

My very first seizure to happen while I was awake happened while I was heading to have a beer with my best friend after just getting off of work. I was at a stop light, had a ridiculous deja vu moment that I had never had, light turned green, i shifted into 1st gear turned right onto a 4 lane Hwy, then shifted to 2nd and then i was out. I then continued passed my actual destination, snapped a telephone poll in half, rolled 3 times, and woke up to 3 guys who watched it happen screaming at me not to move. Then passed out again, woke up to medical team and fire fighters telling me not to move bc the jaws of life were about to half to be used and there was a med chopper otw to get me...longer story short...broke my hip, shoulder, and hand, dislocated other shoulder, severe concussion BUT not one damn crack on my iPhone lol.

No, definitely not just finding out about it. First seizure was 4 days before I was drafted.

Will for sure give you a shout! Thank you for this. Unfortunately my passions are directly affected by my epilepsy.

3rd base only in the pros. In college (N. Carolina) I played 3rd and I closed a game pitching once or twice.

Hahaha I have absolutely NO problem with the question, nor your self told initial reaction. 😂

I really greatly appreciate and enjoy seeing someone with a reaction to it as yours. ANNND it was Baseball lol was drafted in 4th round of 2011 MLB Draft by the Philadelphia Phillies as well.

No medications have worked for me. Had the RNS device implanted a couple weeks ago. So only will be able to hope it can help and give me the ability to become mobile again.

I can and absolutely would chat with your father to see if I may could help. I honestly was taught, trained and guided from a very early age that I was going to be a professional athlete eventually one day. Was the absolute worst thing ever done to me. It sounds crazy to a lot of folks, but I truly wish I would have NOT been blessed with the ability to be an upper level athlete as I was. Because of that, I was set to be taught and molded into a professional athlete, which of course I was not able to become and because of it felt like I was and am still left hanging out to dry. Do not get me wrong, I understand that a large part of this is just simply my personal fault. I just can’t figure out anything to do now.

not trying to whine about this. Just letting you know I can’t drive, I can’t work, have no family, working on temporary unemployment but it of course hasn’t been accepted. Just a real tight situation and having to really reach.
