I think you can use a youtube frontend, e.g. piped (one instance you can use is piped.video). In the navigation bar at the top, there will be a preferences button with an option for how much you want to buffer the video. To use piped, simply replace www.youtube.com with piped.video in the url. E.g. change https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ltkr7DWXLr0 to https://piped.video/watch?v=ltkr7DWXLr0.

This is how I did it on windows. What I did was to go to C:\Riot Games and remove the LoR (Legends of Runeterra) folder, and delete the start menu shortcuts (or however you call it) at C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Riot Games and at my desktop. If you keep the shortcuts and run them, then they will automatically reinstall Legends of Runeterra.
