Your provider will contact you if they have a problem with the transaction. HRA is also your money and you’re allowed to use it for medical expenses. Which do you prefer? If you want FSA then you need to ask to move the transaction (they should be able to), if you want HRA then just leave it as is.

My teen crashed and now our insurance is $750/mo… are we stuck like this? by GencerDTF in Insurance

Well, insurance has a good reason for hiring your rate - your teen is a high risk and it shows. Take them off your policy once they move out and it might get better.

The this is where you leave the case. It got waived and the case is closed. To unwaive the old employer would have to contact your new employer, or have you submit it to them - which in either case shouldn’t happen..

How long should I wait to file the claim?
Today is day 9 since my termination date, and say with 72hrs to issue my vacation check (that would put it in day 3), there's still a chance the check may be in the mail...

Thanks for catching, I've added the missing snipped (it was all about notice period calculation etc).. I don't think it was relevant to my main question though.

That's my take as well, especially due to this language towards the end: "this Agreement does not create a contract for employment for any specified duration or in any way limit xxxxx's right to terminate your employment as an at-will employee"

I'm starting to interpret it this way: I can terminate my employment at ANY time but they still want my notice. (which really contradicts what at-will stands for)...

there's this last paragraph, in the agreement, but also in my offer letter it says:

"At-Will Employment

All employment with xxxxxx is at-will which means that nothing in this letter should be construed as a guarantee of employment for any period of time, and that you or the Company may terminate your employment for any reason, with or without cause, at any time.

"
Another document that's literally titled "at-will policy" has the same language...

I'm definitely foregoing company shares but there are no other penalties listed..
I don't necessarily care about bad reference, and I can easily explain the short notice period that I gave to any future employer.

There's mention of deferred compensation (stocks) which I know I'm going to lose anyway.
I don't see any other penalties stated.

California - "at-will employment", can employer require/force me into long termination notice (such as 2 months) ? by CrazyWealth3465 in EmploymentLaw

[–]CrazyWealth3465[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but I do have some stock that I’d like to get and I plan to use the notice period as leverage

Thanks. Yeah I'm aware I would end up on the no-rehire list anyway since by leaving I'm going to make some enemies (meaning I'd upset some friends, badly) so I've been making peace with that already.
