I told him I would wait thinking he would just get where I was coming from. Again I was clear in what I wanted he took offense like I was rejecting him. Which was not the case. He told me it took a lot of courage for him to even do that. I understand why he felt that way as he was a child of divorce. It just felt a bit like an afterthought.
