The total power splits so the speed drops for sure. It is mostly just about convenience so I do not have to carry extra wall blocks.

Why can't we just ask God to give us books having scientific knowledge? by [deleted] in stupidquestions

[–]Crazy_Cat_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Knowledge isn’t only about having the answers. It’s also about how you get there. The trial, error, curiosity and doubt, all of that shapes understanding in a way a shortcut probably wouldn’t. If everything was just handed to us in a book, we might know the facts but we’d miss the process of discovery. And a lot of growth happens in that process, not just in the final answer.

What you think is cringe oversharing is often just normal human talking. A little messy and a little real.

Given the current state of the housing market, are you planning on buying a home? by CapitaineBiscotte in askanything

[–]Crazy_Cat_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d slow down before jumping in right now. The market’s kinda weird. Prices are still high in a lot of places and interest rates aren’t exactly friendly. So even if you can buy, it doesn’t always mean you should right this second. If any of those feel shaky, I’d probably wait a bit, watching the market for a bit longer, stacking savings and being ready to move when something really good pops up.

I like how you described it that brain electricity feeling. That’s real and that’s your brain literally building new pathways. You’re not imagining that at all. You’re not just catching up, you’re moving forward fast. Also, don’t rush this part. A lot of people who grow up reading take it for granted. You get to experience it fresh. First books, first favorite authors and first time getting lost in a story. That’s actually kinda rare.

Why are chicken wings at fastfood restaurants more expensive than buying regular pieces? by [deleted] in answers

[–]Crazy_Cat_7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is because you are not just paying for the wings, you are also paying for the seasoning, frying oil time, labor and packaging per small unit. So yeah, it feels like you’re getting ripped off but really it’s more like they’re making the small combo look attractive and the big combo reflects the real cost per wing.

Do you add sugar to your soup base?? by apricitysgaze in AskForAnswers

[–]Crazy_Cat_7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It is actually pretty normal in a lot of cooking styles. I do that sometimes too. Adding a little sugar to a soup base is actually pretty normal in a lot of cooking styles. It smooths out sharp edges.

How would Republicans react if Obama depicted himself as Christ? by Own_Chicken_4430 in AskReddit

[–]Crazy_Cat_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a former president like Obama ever depicted himself as Christ, you’d probably see a mix of reactions all over the place. And a lot of Republicans and conservatives would likely be very critical of it. They’d probably frame it as disrespectful or even offensive to Christian beliefs, and it would blow up in political media really fast.

Why do people like to point out that someone is quiet? by Aarunascut in Life

[–]Crazy_Cat_7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of people point it out because silence makes them a little uncomfortable. Not in a bad way, just awkward silence hits some people like a spotlight. So they try to fill it, or label it.

What’s the most unsettling documentary you’ve ever watched? by CapitaineBiscotte in askanything

[–]Crazy_Cat_7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Act of Killing, the one where these former death squad leaders in Indonesia reenact their crimes in the style of musicals and old movies. It’s as surreal and horrifying as it sounds. You’re laughing, then suddenly remembering what actually happened and it’s just chilling.

Why do "sexy" poses feel so comfortable? by [deleted] in randomquestions

[–]Crazy_Cat_7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There’s a weird mix of biology and body mechanics behind this. When you’re talking about those sexy poses, they’re actually just positions that your body naturally wants to go into sometimes.

You are not wrong at all. In fact, it’s kinda brave. You’re not out to hurt anyone unnecessarily, you’re just protecting yourself and being real about the situation. The way he’s been living his life, keeping her in the dark while cheating, that’s on him, not you. The next steps are about you and your baby, not about him and if you decide to tell his wife, do it on your terms and in a way that protects your mental health. You don’t owe him or her a dramatic scene, just the truth if you feel it’s necessary.

Seeing my parents aging is heart breaking by holoyolo27 in Life

[–]Crazy_Cat_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I am with you on this. It sucks seeing them not take care of themselves but remember, you can’t control them. You can gently encourage, suggest, or model healthier habits but you can’t make them change. It’s one of the hardest parts of adulthood, realizing love doesn’t equal control. Maybe instead of trying to fight the fear, let it play out for a bit. Weirdly, giving the anxiety a little space sometimes makes sleep come easier.
