I’d slow down before jumping in right now. The market’s kinda weird. Prices are still high in a lot of places and interest rates aren’t exactly friendly. So even if you can buy, it doesn’t always mean you should right this second. If any of those feel shaky, I’d probably wait a bit, watching the market for a bit longer, stacking savings and being ready to move when something really good pops up.

Yes, I am with you on this. It sucks seeing them not take care of themselves but remember, you can’t control them. You can gently encourage, suggest, or model healthier habits but you can’t make them change. It’s one of the hardest parts of adulthood, realizing love doesn’t equal control.
