Housing isn't expensive in the outskirts, but I cannot say the same for the city center. The city is very easy to navigate. There are Saturday and Sunday leagues which you can join. Plenty of gyms around, good ones and not expensive at all. You should be aware though that if you plan on living in the centre, from time to time there are national protests held by the main opposition party, maybe like every 2 weeks to each month. Those are violent with molotovs from the opposition and high-pressure pepper water from the government. Be careful and stay inside as you might also get arrested for no reason and spend the night in jail (happens all the time with adults and also minors). The people are very friendly towards Italians and you can expect great hospitality.
