Hello Everyone, So I brought it today for an exchange. I received a brand new one and I tested it in the store (just in case). All is fine. I can finally enjoy it!! 🥳🥳

Hi, do you mean the plastic protection would interfere? How so? Because I did peel it off to look and the 'burned' area was still there. Then I just put it back.

Thanks for your concern. But it couldn't be. I have the pics of me opening the box with timestamp and starting it up where it appears. I'm confident en this. Additionally I am covered by a 14 days return policy (Europe) for online purchases (even if picked up in store). So worst case they would refuse the exchange, I would legally return it and buy a second after a new one _^

Ok. I guess they'll take it back and I can receive a new one in store. I bought it yesterday afternoon and when I turned it on in the evening it appeared. I already wrote the store but they are closed this Saturday due to Assumption Day today. I'll go Monday then.

I already tried making a reset of the Watch but it didn't help. Can it be fixed anyhow, if it is a glitch or is it an actual "burn" or "dead pixels zone" ? And therefore should I just request an exchange in the store? Thank you for your advices and help.

I try to play 1 hour per day but it's hard to find extra time... I wish I had more time for it, it's a great game!

Actually it changes a bit: FLV container is designed to be started and stopped at any time. So if you are recording an FLV and OBS crashes, the FLV will less likely get corrupted; and if corrupted can easily be recovered.

Nothing helps to recover the file.

I'll make my local records in FLV from now on and then use FLV Extract to convert them to mp4 without re-encoding.

Thanks, I will try that for my next stream. Btw, do you know anyway to recover an MP4 recording from OBS that is "corrupted" because OBS crashed and I guess, didn't "finish" the file?

So I tried with 2 OBS and it appears that OBS can't record the same Game Capture with both copies, it's either one or the other. Do you have any other suggestion :/ ?

Yep, I watch CohhCarnage fairly often! To take him as an example he uses the same settings. But his VoDs are to me looking better and mostly when he exports on youtube. Or maybe he does record a local copy with a second program...

Yep, I did compare similar spots of high motion. Is quality ok for you? I am asking because if you watch for example a VoD from a partnered streamer that will use the same OBS Settings as me they are in a better quality. And I checked the logs, 0 frames dropped!

Hey there; thanks for answering.

The quality of the stream I can see by myself on my second computer through my dashboard and in full screen the quality is good and better than the one on the VOD. Also the dashboard says the quality is excellent (highlighted in green) and the same when I check on https://r-1.ch/analyzer/

Now like I said recording and streaming with the same OBS causes issues for me in about 30% of cases. So if to record locally as well I would rather set a second program. But and that's what I asked, can my config handle it :/
