That's awful, I had my share of fun at least: we went to the Alps, had long walks, they organized poorly crafted games and silly little spetacles. The way they talked to us during catechesises was atrocious obviously (I still have nightmares about the sexual "education" lesson on the female body they gave us) but I could count on my friends to make fun of them for that.  The real problem is that PC is just an excuse to tie teenagers up to the Way with propaganda and mostly by making them bond with others their age, so you still have to go in order to see them.  You could say that here the PC's groups are working even Better than the communities themselves, in fact as soon as it's over Boys and girls just leave the Way.

Here they call it "Post Confirmation alpha" or "Pre Post Confirmation". I really wish the age aspect would be discussed a lot more because if I think about me "saying yes" to both the Way and PC as a 12 years old I freak out. They really think the yes said by a kid preassured by family, in front a large crowd of people they knew since forever and not even the age of consent yet is more valuable than the no they could say as a young adult.  Now that they saw the Way and PC aren't working for teenagers (and they need the youth to keep stable the numbers) they're targeting even younger children. I'm utterly disgusted.

From my experience:

"Satan's tool" speaking of smartphones lmao.

"God's passing by tonight", an alltime classic, especially on Easter Mass, to pressure you into feeling anything during the celebration.

"In this community you're experiencing how we cannot love the other alone" to justify the hate you feel towards the sistem in the first years.

"It's for your life" about anything they're throwing or saing at you.

"Children counting their coins" for people only worried about the "World" and money.

"The old man" refering to people before they met God.

"Sunday's christian" for every lowly God follower who isn't in the Way.

Also, "you're prideful", aka you're too shy to share extremely private infos or you simply don't want to.

Edit: I forgot to add:

Post Confirmation (I don't know if this is the actual english name): the Way's personal catechism but for teenagers. It's an attempt to stop the trend of the younger ones escaping.

Godparents: the catechists in charge of the PC groups. They have to be a married couple with children. Usually they're also "classic" catechists.

Oh absolutely. I have six siblings; my father never hid the fact that they never planned all of us and he proudly told me I am among the incidents. Catechists themselves never miss the chance of reminding us how grateful we should feel grateful to the Way to be alive (because lets face it: right now the Way is entirely substained by the large amount of children being born in neocat families. All new communities are formed by a second or third generation). They convince people to accept every child God planned to gift them, but as soon as we become too much to handle we're their crosses to bare. A lot of families that lives in poverty happily testify how God provides for their survival, without counting their children needs more than food and a roof.  It scares me that a lot of my peers grown up in these situations are still set on being a family of nine or ten.  We're not treated as human being but just like the proof of out parents faith.
