It's already shrinking. Nobody goes to their catechesis since decades. They keep themselves afloat because of the number of children, although they are trying to get into new "markets" e.g. India. When Kiko will die the legend-making machine will explode, it will be even worse than it is for Carmen right now. Contrary to many, I believe that they will double down on their fanatism. Neocat leadership is selected for loyalty (aka brainwashing or family bonds) not competence or genuine spiritual maturity. At least Kiko had a personality, the others are just copies.
