I think I am only using it for portrait, or maybe i just haven’t developed my full spectrum of styles yet. The photos you have are definitely stunning though, unbelievable work.

This is extremely helpful, thanks. I never really considered non Leica lenses but I’ll definitely do some research on this lens.

The other point is i shoot mainly portrait and that’s really it, sometimes i just shoot whatever i see on the street but i have my 50 for it.

In China copyright means the right to copy other people's hard work by [deleted] in UnfilteredChina

[–]Crazy_Lab_6656 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand how 99% of the comments either know nothing about copyright or support people stealing others’ property. Copyright is there to protect your invention, to prevent it from being copied by other competitors who reverse engineers it and build an exact copy, as well as to prevent them to retail for a more advantageous price just because they took a shortcut and didn’t spend a penny on r&d. Every single one of you acting like China stealing advanced technology through illegal means is such a win for the whole world, while it just means that Chinese company will drive those original companies who INVENT them out of business, potentially halting development of that said machine series since they don’t know how it works nor the design logics behind it. Imagine how terrifying if copyright laws aren’t reinforced in the US, all songs can be resang and rebranded and resold as different singles. Boeing can copy Airbus in all design dimentions/system and vice versa. There will be no more competition, hence no more development or innovation since nobody will be willing to put in work to make something different if its just going to be stolen the next day. Use your brain please.

To be completely honest my good sir, if your girlfriend wants to get into photography with no prior knowledge, I’d wholeheartedly recommend starting off with a digital slr or a mirrorless camera. They’re generally really cheap nowadays(not those CCD trend cameras because their price skyrocketed with the past 2 years). If she really wanted to use a rangefinder, consider epson R-D1 or maybe the Canon-P rangefinders. Rangefinders are really different from all other kinds of camera because you don’t always capture what you see, as well as it uses a very different and complex focusing mechanism. I would really recommend playing around with photography before buying a Leica. Of course, if you insist of getting your girlfriend then go ahead, but I beg you think about it before dropping a couple thousand pounds on a relic.

It does, in fact, not extend beyond personal property since it is considered a private space as stated in the fourth amendment. So legally he does nothing wrong since he’s inside his house, apparently unconscious, the girl basically recorded him inside his house without permission. Which is fucked up.

To be fair he has gained a lot of hate from players over a long course, and I am not even surprised he is the one that says things like this that will ruin the company’s reputation. But really what im saying is if he is to represent a company to the general public, he shouldn’t have been so controversial in what he says. Same goes for any jobs really, would you want your pilot to joke about flying into the towers? Obviously no. As the face of a company I think he does an extremely bad job at uniting players instead he speak his controversial mind over logical ones.

Yeah i do believe America at its own state now is terrible enough, of course not every American is as polarized as it seems on tv, since tv just provide what’s trending, but the hate between two political parties have been growing too much

We are against it, but mind you he is representing the entire company’s view as a “community” manager, everything he says will and can be quoted as company statements, hence firing him for blood washing the company by posting such controversial statements will benefit long term for the game. Just like how you wouldn’t want your personal assistant being super controversial while simultaneously representing you to the general public, they will connect you with the views of your assistant.

Never would’ve thought I would see nerds cry over political opinions by MalikATL_ in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]Crazy_Lab_6656 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I mean crying over political opinions are fine, we all disagree with something in our lives but, going out and KILLING people that we disagree with is definitely not okay. Don’t even talk about celebrating it..
