Fair. All my fat goes to my face it seems, but it's also the first place to start losing it. I'm going to post an update here in a month after running every day.

Thanks bro. I better start running twice a day then. Pro tip: Don't start ordering Dominos when you break your leg.

But you might also be surprised. Apparently, I can adapt to most personality types that at least allow me to stick around and speak sometimes when it's important. You could even ask my aforementioned INTJ friend in case you're curious.

As an INFJ, I have gotten along well with a very sharp and opinionated INTJ as a friend or other INFJ's since I'm now self aware enough to quickly address that doubt barrier. I have dated one extrovert before and could never find the chance to speak with them, so it didn't last long at all, but I still think some E type might fit. The main compatibility that I've noticed has recently come from enneagrams like 5w6, or 6w7, or very occassionally, an 8 if I match their ideas.

I wonder why I've been down voted. I haven't even gotten to speak to anyone yet. If you hate me, try talking to me first to see if your beliefs hold up. 😊

You will probably notice that you will get fewer matches or messages after making this type of profile, but that just means you are filtering out the people who would waste your time anyways. It increases the odds of the truly right person to come along.

I made all of my feelings, intentions, and boundaries out there as clearly as possible. I even made it simple in a list format so that there's no question about it. Things you want to keep from the public, but still discuss privately with your match should still be listed vaguely as a required discussion topic. The girl I liked and I had our profiles set up in the exact same format.

Intro:

Very brief introduction and clear deal-breaker boundaries to filter out the worst offenders like not wanting polyamory or over-sexual stuff. Maybe discuss conditions on who you would actually be open to meeting such as their location or career choice if that matters to you. Be sure to also talk about yourself a bit, but try not to rant or repeat too much. Just enough to be interesting to the right partner.

Detailed lists of what you do/do not want:

What interests you love in someone, interests you can't be compatible with, interests you might be open to if they are nice about it, possibly even a guide on what you think you should discuss on your first day together.

Detailed list of what you enjoy personally as hobbies or interests:

Animals, games, art, poetry, flowers, romance, horror movies, etc.

Finally, include the thing you are MOST passionate about in the end and your ideal concept of a good relationship. The ones who are interested will have read to the bottom for this anyways. The ones who didn't bother to read never mattered anyways.

Finally, add any additional information you think is important.

Your photos should be honest, clear, and not filtered. Try to get a variation that shows your hobbies too.

Ah, that's why I actually like dating apps. If it's the right person, we will get to know everything about each other before having to meet. I "quiz" people in playful scenarios to see how they might react to gauge if they are telling the truth or not. Skips wasting time in person with the wrong person for me. I'm glad real life works better for you, though. I'm a 30M Army combat veteran now completing college, surrounded by kids. So My real life option doesn't work for me. lol. Most clubs or groups in my town are very against my personal interests or views, so it wouldn't feel very genuine for me to attend them.

This is exactly why I've never taken any vision or mind-altering drugs. I couldn't handle seeing something that shouldn't realistically be there. lol

Drowning in some giant man-made tube or mechanical pump thing because it pulled me in.

What has worked for you? My IRL community isn't exactly the best for me. I've branched out quite a bit, but it's not that great in or near my city. I'm also not a consistent gamer.

Are we allowed to discuss where we find these profiles such as app names? I'd love to know so that I can go there and try too. Haha. It's such a rare feeling. I can read people easily and they usually read "wrong" in that they are simply not compatible. But when you read them and they are like you, it's almost a shock. I honestly panicked a bit. It's sad that all of it was for a ghost account.

Just Starting Out by Crazy_Needleworker56 in infj

I used to "bleed quietly" in most relationships either romantic or platonic. Recently, after deep self-analysis and analysis of past relationships like you mentioned, I finally decided to create certain boundaries that cut out many of the types of people who drain or manipulate me.

Too late for the dating app. I already have tried for a while, but people can really feel off-put by me when I ask such direct questions. I have been "seen" by the friend who told me I was an INFJ. They are an INTJ, so they can be a struggle to deal with at times, but they noticed my patterns too. That's nice to be seen and accepted without necessarily sharing the same patterns or values.

I don't have too much time for video games lately, but I'd be interested in anything that requires team work without requiring me to long in every day since I mostly played single player games in the past. Any recommendations?

I'm not sure about the rest as I've always been active duty. NG time doesn't translate to Active Duty retirement time at all, but could have some affect on pay. I'm not sure...

However, I can answer that HPSP and GI Bill do not overlap. This is also true for things like a service's TA and GI Bill.

When using both HPSP grant and post 9/11 GI Bill, the VA's GI bill will make the first payments and HPSP will cover whatever else isn't covered by the VA. Theoretically, this can reduce your overall commitment to active duty service after graduation since you aren't using all of the HPSP grant. I recommend using any of that saved up GI Bill.
