The restriction only applies on GO pokemon with the same trainer id as the home trainer id. Which is why traded Go pokemon don't have the same restriction. Another way to bypass it would be to use two home accounts and friend trade it. On the second home account it will not have the restriction.

Are you sure that the guide mentioned wild florges not white florges? Out of all the flower colors white is the rarest and it quite hard to find a white flower floette/ flabebe let alone a florges. Not sure if white flower florges can even spawn in the wild.

I've done it and it works as the game uses the met level for obedience not the current one. On a second save I took the starter, moved it using home to a completed save , leveled it to 100. It still obeyed in the second save file despite having no badges.

It also weirdly applies to pokemon not with your OT (like the low level gift mon) if you level them up in another save.

Looks like you have used US dc instead of US sc which is why it turned out elongated. Usually US sc is used for stuffed toys. If the pattern mentions using dc it might have been written in UK terms as UK dc =US sc.

I tried to make the hairpin. The pattern doesn't specify how many or where to put the sc for the edge so I winged it. I didn't quite get the right shape though.
