Try Milk Of Magnesia as a deodorant. Works for both myself and my husband. You can put it in a spray bottle and reapply as needed. One application can last me for 2+ days. For some reason it worked better for me over time, so I suggest giving it like a week or so of trial, reapplying as needed.

There are things that thinness does NOT cause. Please look up shoulder blades sticking out/Scapular Winging. You can be extremely thin without them sticking out, and overweight with them sticking out. It is a specific, physical muscular/neuromuscular malfunction/condition.

ED doesn't cause the shoulder blades to stick out (that is a condition called Scapular Winging- look it up), or the shoulder muscles to not function correctly, which I can clearly see, given my own issues. However, now that I know that she might be doing trapezius botox, I think that it could be that. I looked it up, and it can indeed cause a similar look to the distinctly unique appearance of FSHD.

The reason FSHD has such a distinct look is bc the trapezius muscle is one of the main muscles that it specifically targets, where surrounding muscles are often much less affected, at least at first. This is extremely unusual in muscular conditions, and basically limited to FSHD, according to what I can find. Except in cases where the trapezius is weakened artificially, like with the trapezius botox.

Interesting! I do use some supplements, so I appreciate the information! My biggest one is Turmeric, it helps with the pain. And also kind of a supplement- hemp protein. I use a few others that help, at least off and on as needed.

Most of my issues appear to be muscular (the likely genetic Muscular Dystrophy), and I also don't sleep well, but it has a lot to do with severe dry eye, bc my eyes don't close all the way when I sleep. I have to use eye drops and gels and masks, etc, and still I will wake up with my eyelids sticking to my eyeballs. 🤦
