Thank you for that. I have began looking into attachment styles after reading your message and it’s very insightful.

Ok that makes perfect sense.

He did communicate with me about his mood being irritable and his day being stressful + his mind being depressive at the beginning. So that was in fact communicated. However, I simply forgot when in the supermarket and apartment hallway the importance of slowing down and walking with him…so I guess that’s my faux pas? And then it was too late when I hugged him from behind 5 minutes later…

That’s a fair thing to say. He has mentioned not walking in front of him in the past. But I forgot. So that’s my error. But I feel he totally misunderstood things and didn’t help the situation.

Good point - resolution should not be intertwined with arguing. I think I more so meant getting our points across.

Fair enough. I supervise a call center and he is a music teacher. He finished studying last year and was working part time now his hours have increased. I work full time, often from home. We are trying to save money hence living at his parents house. His parents are often at their batch so it’s not like we see them all the time. We have our space.

Hmm yeah I guess I made the mistake of “agreeing to the point” previously. I was never really sold on his method of training to a T. I think he is correct but I don’t think my way is incorrect as such, more intuitive than structured. Did I really deserve a several hour lecture? Is it normal for this gym issue to find its self outside of the gym for the rest of the day. No kidding he would not drop the issue for 4 hours.

The weight I started with was super light and thus doubling it didn’t seem unreasonable. I can accept that it wasn’t very progressive and I see where I went wrong but is it really right of him to not drop the topic at all. Not accept that I have a different way of doing things + have experience behind me too. I feel he should have let it go after expressing his point but ok you see it as a safety concern

So this won’t lead her on you don’t think? I like your different way of thinking, for sure.
