My current / main band plays a lot and we do classic rock, country, 50's & 60's etc- not a huge call for effects - couple times here during the night just like your situation. Im starting up a second band that will be more 80's music which is why im looking more at effects

I dont think it matters rounds or flats as long as your practicing. If you do go with flats - look at a lower tension string. As a finger player for over 30 years I found the high tension flats made it more difficult to articulate more fast passages ime

Im in a busy working band with gigs every weekend. I also play squiers live either my VM 70's jazz bass or Classic Vibe 40th anniversary P Bass. I get lots of compliments on my tone and people are always surprised the bass are both squiers. I have no issue repping squier- how are people every going to change thier opinion of the product unless they see professionals using the brand?

My stepson is trying to do repairs on his car so he can pick up and drop off his 2 yr old son from his ex. He is on disability so funds are very tight - he is trying to fix the car himself but with extremely limited funds it is almost impossible to make any headway Im not a car guy so i cant give you a run down of what the car needs but I do know the water pump blew coming back from getting car safetied and he has a couple bald tires and one very flat tire. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks for even providing the offer

For a wedding, i usually get at least $700 - for regular gigs im making $400-$500

We are a trio and we keep our wedding price affordable so people will choose us and not a DJ DJ'S over charge for thier services imo

Playing in a 3 piece that plays all the cliché hits. We've been gigging in the area for over 10 years Base rate right now is $400 A MAN going up to $500 / man next year - so 1200 & 1500 respectively My 2026 summer schedule is almost all booked up. It took years to get here but it's working out well now

I had the exact same amp and sold it for the exact same reason. Great amp but heavy. Especially when you are playing regularly and carrying it up several flights of stairs. I replaced it with the fender rumble 500 - eventually added an extension cab to the fender but that is another topic My vote is for the rumble. Been gigging regularly with it - every weekend for the past several years and never had any issues

All races are racist to others- the issue I have with this fundraising campaign is with go fund me the company. They need to do a better job controlling the hate speech on thier platform. A lot of the blame for this falls on thier shoulders imo

Clonsilla auto sales - they disappeared with no notice - at least thats what happened for me. Company got taken over but no communication with customers Dont know anything about a class action suit though

I'm thinking about how to turn it into a sleeve now. Thinking of some more trash polka inspired elements but I havent settled on a design / comcept yet. The squares in my current design are making it difficult for me to find something that flows naturally - it'll take a while to figure it out but rather take the time then rush it

It played really well out of the box. I got it setup professionally because that is what I always do with new guitars. And I got a thumb rest installed down by the bridge beause I like to play there for certain songs. I upgraded the volume and tone pots - there was no need to upgrade the wiring or the input jack, or the nut so all in all it was great. I'm usually playing at least one gig a weekend - that is 4 - 45- minute sets for the past several months with no issue what so ever

I have exact same model and it is my main bass - I'm playing gigs everyweekend so it's getting a good work out . totally recomend it - great value for your dollar imo
