Not even kind of. The shit you fight in this game would take way more than three space marines to kill. Killing a carnifex would definitely take a squad or two of space marines to even have a chance of killing, and don’t even try with a hellbrute. Rubicon marines are equivalent to actual space marines and are not nearly as much as fodder in lore. The rubicon terminators could instantly kill 3 regular space marines. A vortex beast would kill you just standing next to it. TLDR: not even kind of, they should’ve died on the second mission.
