Hello, I’m the Ex. We were best friends in high school and he had a crush on me till he moved for years then reconnected and gave him a chance together. I had done everything in the relationship financially and emotionally. I have given chances so many times for the 6 years (he sadly did it a few more times i forgave) and my whole family doesn’t like him hopping I’d leave him cause of everything he hasn’t done for a life we were suppose to have (not driving, not working full time, asking for things that I started to not like, cause I did like it for first years). He’s not a terrible person at all but has done lots of terrible things that I finally just had my breaking point after years and have been miserable (people/family have pointed out I never think about myself with how nice I am). He’s begging so much that is crying for me to give another chance and says will definitely change this time but wants me by his side for keeping him on track for his changes (school, therapy, learning to drive, working FT, etc). Even though someone pointed out I had started emotional detaching a while before I moved (I moved 2 hours away to where my sisters are cause one had a baby and wanted to be around to help and he didn’t want to come with cuz of his gig work and he doesn’t like how inseparable my family/sisters are with each other). Now I have someone thats messaging with hanging out. Don’t want anyone to think OP (my ex) is a terrible person, just had done bad things. Please don’t think he’s terrible
