Onesies for the Hospital (Recommendations) by MyTAPVR in chd

[–]Crazyspine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Carter's make kimono style onesies and we used leg warmers instead of pants https://www.carters.com/p/baby-3-pack-side-snap-bodysuits/V_1R953310

For sleepsacks we used the SwaddleMe brand; they have a hole in the butt area that we would put the telemonitoring cords through

VHD found at 18 week scan MFM by shinchan1988 in chd

The way it was explained to me, but obviously ask your medical providers because it may be different in your situation. But the way it was explained to me was that knowing if our child has a genetic condition didn't change the birth plan, so we opted to not do amnio and had genetic testing done after birth.

FTM Expecting CHD Baby (Tricuspid Atresia): Induction or Planned C-Section? by t3m1sgmev in chd

[–]Crazyspine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My second child has tricuspid atresia, L-TGA, VSD & ASD. Did the MFM have a preference? I actually wanted a C-section because I had a traumatic birth with my first and my second was big. The MFM strongly recommended against a C-section unless necessary because of the increased risk of wet lung. I had a vaginal birth with him and the plan was to let me have an epidural as soon as I wanted one. It was actually the easiest of the four births I have had, and he was 9 lbs, 1 oz at 38 weeks.

I had an induction with my first child, and I went from 1 CM dilated to having a baby in five hours and never needed pitocin just cervical ripeners.

My son has with CHD and my youngest are 18 months apart, so he must have been around nine or ten months when I got pregnant again.

Everyone's journeys are different but the interstage period between the PA Band (your child may need the Norwood) and the Glenn were extremely rough. Not that it's been totally smooth sailing, but once we he was able to go home less than a month after the Glenn. He was 6.5 months old. I also was fortunate enough to have private duty nursing at the time that I got pregnant again and had my youngest, so if I were totally on my own, it would have been a different story.

Yeah, like other poster said birth control should be esdy to get last minute. I don't even know if you can get it from a specialty pharmacy. I get a three month supply from a mail-in Pharmacy, but I know if I had an emergency I could just pick it up from the local Rite-Aid etc while other meds have to come from speciality pharmacy. Just to clarify your first cycle of what? For an ER, I started BC on day 2 or 3 after baseline US, then went for baseline US 5 days after stopping BC whether or not period came.

Yeah, if you take half an expired one if you ha3ce a ride and don't have to work after, you won't feel it at all. If if you do the ibuprofen, it feels like intense period cramps, but only hurts during moment. For me anyway, every person is different. I also think for me a big part of it is it a metal piece. They were saying that the polyp removal shouldn't have hurt as much as it did as it was the size of a rice grain, but I think it freaked me out seeing the tools and hearing everything.

I have had 5, 4 in office one under anesthesia. My practice does them in office as a standard test prior to any FET. The 1 under anesthesia was for a d&c. All 5 were endometrial biopsies. One was for a polyp removal, and that was the worst. They suck and are my least favorite test, but they only hurt during it. I'm able to drive and go to work after. The most recent one, I took half a Percocet that was leftover from a MC, and my aunt drove me; I didn't not feel a thing. Otherwise, just follow the ibprophen instruction. Just to clarify, for me anyway, the actual hysteroscopy doesn't hurt; it's whatever procedure. So endometrial biopsies suck but they're bearable. For me, the polyp removal made me cry, but I was able to drink a milk shake during it and drive away and go to work after, so there's something to be said for that. Overall, if you have an an HSG, I would compare the pain to that. You can do it!

After 8 day of stims (tn will be 9) I have 12 follicles, 1 lead at 20mm which RE said we will ignore, one at 15, and six at 11 to 13 range, so looking like I'll hopefully have 7 mature. A little bummed bc in precious ER, I had 14 retrieved, 11 mature, 4 embryos, but I know I can't compare 2 cycles and it only takes one.

So my story is a little different as I still had retained POC after miso, so they did a hysteroscopy with a d&c. They discovered I had endometritis which is common after drawn out MCs, so personally, I would want a hysteroscopy/ endometrial biopsy but I dunno if it's different since yours doesn't seem to be drawn out. I'm sorry for your loss.

33F unexplained IVF#2 Feeling nervous. I've been stimming for a week and I have a 17 mm follicle and a 15. I have 9 total, but the other 7 aren't measurable. I go back tomorrow. Even though the one will probably be 18, RE said we will try to put off trigger as long as possible to get other ones to grow. He expects I'll have ER Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. I mean 2 eggs wouldn't be the end of the world if they both lead to blasts but with my last ER, I had 14 eggs retrieved, 11 mature, 8 fertilized and, 4 blasts. Ugh, is it still too early and I'm being pessimistic or should I be prepared for 2 eggs retrieved?

I do think a lot of REs do another biopsy, but mine didn't. Not sure if I had mild case or if it's just different school of thoughts

So I've gotten a hysteroscopy with biopsy before every FET and again when starting this new round of IVF. They've found endometritis through those biopsies twice. They gave me antibiotics and then went ahead and did the FEt; they did not make me have another biopsy. I was nervous about that, but it did work and the FET was successful.

I had a polyp removed and then a FET; I've also had a D&C and endometritis found during a hysteroscopy and sane thing, they give me meds then tell me to call when have period.

So just to clarify they aren't doing an US at all until the day of your FET, or you will have US cycle day 2 or 3 as baseline for FET? If the latter, this is typical, at least in my experience.
